The sea was calm as the sunrises above the horizon. Bringing colours of sunrise into the sky.
Trip of a Lifetime
Maldives - March 2012
I consider myself, being lucky enough to be at Maldives. Well, not enjoying in any resorts as we were suppose to be on a fishing trip for 7 days. Staying in the luxury boat for 6 nights is just as good and even more excitements than being at a resort, spending loads per night and have totally less or even no activity to do.
This was my second trip there in Maldives, but this time I feel so blessed being able to witness such beautiful coral reefs which kept my jaws dropping. Wouldn't you have the same experience if you were there? Me, being a photographer I did my very best to capture this amazing moments I have in Maldives and hope to give you an in-sight of my trip to Maldives in March 2012. :)

Indonesia, Surabaya - June 2012
Having seen many breath-taking photographs from Surabaya, we've decided to plan a trip up. Instead of only visiting Mt.Bromo, we headed further to conquer Mt.Ijen as well. The trip and journey up to Mt.Ijen was tough, sitting long hours of rides by van, having a night at a resort nearby, waking up as early as 3am and to continue the journey to Ijen.
The road to Mt.Ijen is just rough, only a 4-wheel drive is able to access to that area. But after all the "ass-hurting" journey and a tough climb up Mt.Ijen, hard work pays off !! No regrets. :)
One thing I love about travelling, is that wherever we go, we are able to at least have a little knowledge, knowing and understanding about the cultures and activities in that area, as for Mt.Ijen.. Sulphur miners have to carry at least 70kg to 90kg of Sulphur Slabs twice a day up and down the mountain just to earn a little living of maybe 13 USD everyday. Looking at how much they suffer, really taught me to be appreciative of what I have right now.
Heading on, we drove all the way back and hit for Mt.Bromo, journey is just as long there, about 12 hours probably? But as Mt.Bromo has been somehow commercialised and having lots of tourist day and night, they have a proper route up to whichever accommodation you have booked for the night.
Abit about Mt.Bromo, hmm..it's an active volcano which will erupt once in awhile and covering the whole mountain with volcano ashes. Having yourself being at Mt.Bromo, it's no surprise that whatever you have with you will collect volcano ash. If you are going, remember to bring a mask and at least protect your nose, throat and lungs from letting volcano ash enter. Well, it's more important than anything you have with you (shirt, shoes etc)

Gold Coast & Brisbane, Australia - September 2012
A short trip to visit my sister taking her university in Australia, Brisbane. We visited, the theme parks and travelled around the area. How I wish I'm living in Australia, having less stress at work and long breaks at studies. (From my point of view)
We did a self-drive up from Gold Coast to Brisbane, enjoying and exploring different scenic areas..Australia is really a good place for relaxing. Peaceful in certain areas, able to enjoy in many places with nature. How relaxing can it be? When I was there, I told myself...leave all the work behind, let me relax once and for all. :P and.. that is the correct thing that should be done every holiday trips, right? :)

Fisherman at Phatthalung.
Many people will do a 2 hours kayaking down this long stream in the afternoon. It's very fun and enjoyable.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :) But don't bring your cameras along.

Southern Thailand - December 2012
This is one trip that I've felt time passes so slow. Definitely not because it wasn't fun and boring, but I think it's the many activities we had in a day, but surprisingly I don't feel it rushing at all..it just keeps me occupied the whole day. From photo shooting to enjoying scenic views, visiting the local market and many more. :)
This trip up to the Southern Thailand is to have a family trip since my sister is back during her study break and also to visit our friends in Thailand. It was a great trip (that's what I say for every holiday :P), especially right after my examinations,it keeps me not to worry about my results and just enjoy what is happening at the moment.
